Power and Hold

Airline Training Humor.  As part of their initiative to enhance safety-awareness of technical subjects in the cockpit, Mesaba Airlines asked Tonywood Productions to create a unique video that could be used as an attention-getter during classroom talks that are performed to stress the vital importance of practical stall training with pilots. Tonywood created an original concept that poked fun at the old-fashioned method for teaching stall-awareness in the form of a 1950s PSA video spoof.  This movie was designed to impress upon the viewer the absurdity of using decades-old methods and data as the foundation for modern stall training curriculum utilizing subtle, and sometimes not-so-subtle, tongue in cheek humor.  Tonywood wrote, consulted, filmed and edited all aspects of this short feature.  Mesaba uses this video as the kick-off feature of airline safety talks that they conduct at airline trade shows all over the world.
